Marlene Klamt is an innovative Human Resources professional with over 18 years of full spectrum HR Management experience at the strategic and tactical level. Currently she is an HR consultant specializing in full HR services for small companies, as well as helping companies of all sizes align the organization with their goals and foster high performing teams. She is certified in the DISC and Values assessments.  For 10 years she  provided HR leadership at Allergan Inc. (formerly Inamed Corp.) in Santa Barbara. She has spoken at several national conferences on International HR topics. Her HR background includes recruitment and selection, development and implementation of policies and procedures, payroll management, implementation of HRIS and payroll systems, legal compliance, training, and worker’s compensation management.
In addition, Marlene has held senior level experience in Sales, Marketing, Finance, International Expatriate Management and Training, with several Fortune 500 companies such as Corning Inc., Xerox Corp. and Borden’s of Canada.

The Santa Barbara Area Chapter American Payroll Association has adopted a Green-meeting policy.  We no longer give a handout of the printed PowerPoint slideshow at the monthly luncheon.  Any meeting materials will be available to Chapter Members on our website at
